About the Sunnyside Innovation Laboratories
The Sunnyside Innovation Laboratories will continue the work of ET Squared® and the Energy Oasis℠.
One of our goals, team with the National Western campus, a mile to our east, along with NREL and the School of Mines, twelve miles to our west, and be the laboratories for Climate Tech Innovators to bridge the gap between innovation and impact. Working together, doing what we can to ensure we leave future generations with a healthy planet.

Pete Tovani
Pete Tovani is the general manager of the family partnership RJSCJS LLC which owns the land at
4700/4680 N Jason St. Denver, CO 80211
The 4700/4680 N Jason St. property plays a key role in Denver’s Near NorthWest Area Plan as the
Sunnyside Industrail Area transitions into an Innovation District. First, it is the western connection for
the Sunnyside and Globebille neighborhoods with the construction of the W. 47th Ave Solar Bridge over
the railroad tracks. Second, it can be the nucleus for liked minded companies and government agencies
to work together to build the Sunnyside Innovation District.
As a citizen scientist, Pete is also an innovator. Pete has been named as Inventor or Co-Innventor on
eight patents over each of the last four decades, honing his skills as a industrial designer. Pete is also the
founder of Engineered Tools & Technologies, or ET Squared® and the Energy Oasis℠. The Sunnyside Innovation Laboratories will continue the work of ET Squared®
John Gagnon
President and Principal Architect of JG Architects, Inc., John is an accomplished
architect with over 40 years of architectural design and construction experience.
John has worked for many of the region’s most prestigious architectural firms
and has gained substantial experience in all aspects of profession project
delivery. In 2008, during one of this countries worst economic downturns, John
introduced Denver based Architectural Design firm JG Architects, focusing on
exceptional Design, Quality and Client satisfaction in a variety of specialized
project types. John’s experience spans a vast array of building types including
